Yes – you may be asked for these at check-in and/or in the ports you visit.
Note: Photocopy your passports and sailing qualifications and leave the copies at home in case your originals are lost so you have a record of the details.

What footwear should I take?
Take flat soled shoes and avoid anything with black soles as they will mark the deck. If this is your first sailing holiday we would suggest that rather than splashing out on an expensive pair of deck shoes, a pair of basic lace up pumps with a white or clear soles will suffice.

Do I need a waterproof?
It is always good to take/carry a lightweight waterproof just in case. A fleece or jumper can also be handy as the temperature drops in the evenings in early and late season.

How much money should I take?
This is a difficult question to answer as everyone has different budgets. To give you an idea if on flotilla you should expect to pay around £15 per person, per night for an evening meal, excluding drinks. If sailing in Turkey a lot of the ports are remote and have no ATM or bank facilities therefore you will need to pay in local cash.

What clothes shall I take?
Swimwear, hat, t-shirts & shorts, jumper/fleece and a pair of trousers just in case.

Tea towels, hand towels, hand wash, your favourite tea bags/instant coffee, small bin liners, a sarong and/or a lightweight shirt to cover up with if you burn easy.

Most airlines DO NOT include in-flight meals as standard. If you require them please call us on 01787 310445 with card details in respect of the per person charge, normally in the region of £15pp. Note: This optional extra will apply to all persons on your booking, if added.

What time is check-in?
Check-in usually opens between 2-3 hours before departure. This is sometimes shown on your flight tickets or ticketless paperwork. Our advice would be to arrive at the airport 3½ hours prior to departure to allow enough time to park and take the shuttle bus to the terminal, so that you are able to check-in at least 2½ hours prior to your flight. If you are a larger group or family you may wish to allow more time.
